Pastries & Playlists

I enjoy baking and eating sweets of all kinds. I think about chocolate on an hourly basis, and cake is always the first word I think of in the morning. Maybe not all the time, but most of the time.

The same can be said about my love of music. I started making playlists in high school, took a veer into tv during college, and am now back in the mix game.

So here, I bring you sir/madam my two loves: desserts and dance, cake and classical, brownies and bossa nova, ice cream and indie.

I love chocolate chip cookies. There is no way I can turn one down. Ever. So it makes sense it is my go-to for when I have a sweet tooth. (Ok, not whenever cause then I might as well live in a bakery. Wait, kinda am.) I found a new recipe and added a mix of dark chocolate chips and chunks of semi-sweet chocolate. Threw in some cinnamon, cause I can.  This playlist is full of songs that like chocolate chip cookies, I can’t get enough of. Each track has been burned into my memory and that of my iTunes. Pilot Mix: Brownies

To go along with awesome chocolate/cake things I like to bust out the guitars and feedback to hype me up on the delicious brownies before me. After eating three or seven, I start to go into the cake-sleep, and drift off into dream land. (Hence the break mid way through. I think these things out guys.) Once I wake up ready for a gallon of water and/or lemonade I am ready for round two.
